Hey all, hit the river today and ended up with 22 plus, most on black zebra midges sz 22, and the others came on dark green para's sz 22, and red zebra midges sz 22. The sulfers started coming off around 1:00. Everyone was catching fish today.

oh yeah
Oh yeah for those wondering ive started seeing some color changes to the rainbows. Is it spawning time soon?

I also fished the SoHo on Saturday. I was skunked!! I was into a nice group of fish, including a 16-17" bow that kept frustrating me. They would not take anything I threw out there. I do not get to the SoHo often, so I am not familiar with what they may be hitting. Next time I go, I will try to be better prepared. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Rainbows will spawn in the spring and browns and brookies in the fall.

wynnsman,
Thanks for the report. A bunch of my friends and I are heading up to the SoHo in about a month and hopefully the action is still hot. Can you or anyone else remind me what parts of the river are closed for the spawn starting November 1? I know that some of the area down around Big Springs and up near the big bend are closed. I think the cabin we are staying in is on closed waters... |

Exactly what I was looking for. Thanks Travis.

Thinking about hitting the SoHo Sunday morning. Early - like sunrise. Either the Hickory Tree bridge section or the lower TVA section near Bottom Creek. Are they pulsing consistently right now? Any advice anybody wants to pass along would be most welcome.

Hey they have been running one for maybe a couple hours a day. Usually from 9-10, and 5-6.
