REAL INSANITY for a warm water F'F'er is having a 10+ foot gator grab a 3 ft. gar your trying to land last winter. Then making plans to go back in a few weeks. Lets get together next spring and stick some flies in trees.

His Myakka Minnow is a great pattern for panfish here also.

Yep, I'm the same jeffnles who posts over at FAOL.

I saw that thread, makes me want to get in a car and drive to Fla.

My mom and dad spend the winters in Dade City, just north of Zephyrhills. I'm going to visit them for a week in April. I"m not sure about fishing in that part of the state but Daniel and I are going to take a couple fly rods and some flies just in case we can find something that looks like a good fishing hole.

What part of KY are you in? I"m in Northern KY in the Boone County / Florence area.

Yup and a 1X vetran of Kamp Kaufman. I was going to go this summer, and still might if the fishing trip to Oregon does not work out.

Right now, I'm working on Under the Double Eagle.
