Snow and Fat Rainbows
 

After waiting over an hour for US441 to open this morning, I drove over to the reservation and chased the big fat trophy section rainbows. I caught 7 in all. Below are pics of the 3 biggest and some snow at Newfound Gap.

Whoa, Nelly! A friend told me about the special trophy waters on the reservation. I plan on wetting some fur and feathers there this spring. I just showed the pix to my wife. I'm hoping to get her there also. Thanks for sharing!

Hey John, as much as I want to get back home down there, it looks like it will be a few weeks, so when are you coming this way? Hope we can hit this trophy section sometime, I have fished it a dozen times and it is easy and full of bruisers, I mean no offense to the folks, pics, and success posted here! plus there is some very interesting things in the works for this trophy section that will be quite unique.
