Trip to the lost world aka WNC
Loaded up the hippie van with the twins and enough camping and fishing equipment for a month long expiditonhttp://i68.photobucket.com/albums/i1...IMGP0012_2.jpg
I let the twins take most of the photos, big mistake. I still managed to save a few. I see why now, they were drinking all my beer.http://i68.photobucket.com/albums/i1...IMGP0012_3.jpg http://i68.photobucket.com/albums/i1...u/IMGP0007.jpg The fishing was difficult. I soon found out why, these water were inhabited by the dreaded trout eating Anaconda water snake.http://i68.photobucket.com/albums/i1...IMGP0003_2.jpg Insect hatches were heavy and consisted of mainly of Isos, Yellow Stones, and Cahillshttp://i68.photobucket.com/albums/i1...IMGP0010_3.jpg We had about 12,000 flies between us, but we always carry our ace in the hole just in case.http://i68.photobucket.com/albums/i1...IMGP0011_2.jpg Most of the fish were caught on terrestrials like ants, and inch wormshttp://i68.photobucket.com/albums/i1...IMGP0005_3.jpg |
Looks like fun flyman. I'll be throwing a couple of 40 lb packs into my ride in a few hours.
