New but old
I have lurked here for sometime gaining a wealth of info about the Smokies. I fish there several times a year and enjoy it immensely.
I have been tying for over thirty years mostly Catskill style flies and traditional soft hackles. I hope I can help some of the newbies as well as gaining some info from you all. I should add that I fish bamboo with silk lines and Tenkara. |
Great to have you posting! I look forward to your insight and patterns! Nothing compares to experience!

grannyknot-
I'm with you on tying. I too wish there was more activity. Especially in these winter months when the weather doesn't cooperate, and tying flies makes the time pass. Gives me an opportunity to replentish my flies in anticipation of Spring. Bill |
I will try and add some patterns to the tying section to do my part.
