This Past Monday
This past Monday (Dec 27th), I drove the family up to Townsend to see the snow. When we left Knoxville, The Park Road Conditions Report was that all roads were closed. So, we stopped by LRO to waste some time and pick up some gear. We then took off up the road and found that Laurel Creek Rd had just been opened, so we continued on to Cades Cove. The loop road was closed, but it didn't stop us nor a few other people from getting out and exploring in the area. Below are a few pics from that day:
