Canoe for sale
 

I have a Mohawk Nova 16ft canoe for sale. It has web seats and I installed a front and rear thru the hull anchor system. It has typical scrapes from being used on the rivers but no holes or leaks. I typically stand and cast from this canoe even while drifting. I use the anchor system with a drag chain to slow my drift and to keep it tracking straight.

Yep, I've enjoyed the canoe but the length requires me to balance it in the middle and military press it up on top of my truck. Shoulder problems are making this pretty tough. I am delivering the canoe to the new owner this evening. I hope he enjoys it also.
I want to get another canoe or SOT kayak about 12ft long that will slide in the pickup bed like my former white water inflatable yak did. I will miss being able to stand and cast but then there is no perfect boat for everything is there! Might be looking at a guide 119 to mod like yours or a ride 115.

Gary, I have a 119 that I could sell or trade. It is a little rough around the edges but it is just sitting not doing many any good.

Blake, I went looking for a small canoe or kayak on monday instead of going fishing on my day off. I found a really nice demo native ultimate 12 with just a few scratches at riversports but decided to look some more. I ended up buying a new red Guide 119 from Dicks. I plan on doing several of the mods over the winter. Thanks for the offer though.

I'll think that new boat will work well for you. Saw the pictures on the other site. Although I find it harder to step in and out of the canoe than a kayak, the 119 is nice and light simple utilitarian boat.

Troutman, did they by chance have the special edition camouflage 119?
Its pretty cool.
