Thank you, Knik. This will get varnished and framed. I feel like I've turned a corner on color and hopefully perspective. Now to create 10 more this good, make a 3 fold flyer and start hitting up the galleries. :biggrin:

Thanks Knothead! Believe it or not; for the most part, talent doesn't play into it. It's a skill that is learned like fly fishing, chemistry, engine repair, etc. You just have to study it enough and work hard at it...hard work will eventually reap you a nice painting and an interesting skill. You're welcome, Shawn. Thank you for your support my friend. Yes, it is relaxing in the end when I am finished and have a quality painting that I can share. It does take me to the Smokies when I look at it, which is my intent. It can be a bit nerve racking near the end when a mistake could ruin it or at least change it too much. I have the weak off and will frame this one and repost. Maybe I can paint another just as good...we will see.
