You anglers on the sun up side of the park may need to fish Big Creek & Cataloochee Creek more than usual for the next several months to keep them from becoming overpopulated. ;)

I guess the gorge was due for its next slide. Every time I pass through there I am wondering if the mountain is going to slide off in front of me. Asheville news said they may have this one open soon, so it must not be too bad.

heard on the radio this morning that TDOT says they hope to have it back open sometime next week.

So... not so bad after all. I was under the impression they were going to have to dislodge a bunch more loose boulders.
