I don't sharpen scissors. My method is to cut my thumb while making a salad, spend $300 for three stitches. When the Dr. removes the stitches, I ask for the scissors which are already sharp! Expensive but saves time!

sure is a way of destroying a fine scissor , why stop with sandpaper. cutting a bottle neck or freezing them for a weekend. and i have seen more people trained to be sharpeners destroy just as many. been sharpening scissors and surgical instruments for over 20 yrs from Bristol,Tn. to Mtn.Home Ark.[so i can fish the white and norfork] Lexington Ky.to. B ham Alabama .log well over 1 million miles sharpening.
