fly tying scissors sharpening
on Saturday 18 th I will be doing a demo on how to sharpening scissors at LRO
|
I don't sharpen scissors. My method is to cut my thumb while making a salad, spend $300 for three stitches. When the Dr. removes the stitches, I ask for the scissors which are already sharp! Expensive but saves time!

I just cut sandpaper with mine...

This works great for the cheapo scissors that are usually plated, sure is a way of destroying a fine scissor , why stop with sandpaper. cutting a bottle neck or freezing them for a weekend. and i have seen more people trained to be sharpeners destroy just as many. been sharpening scissors and surgical instruments for over 20 yrs from Bristol,Tn. to Mtn.Home Ark.[so i can fish the white and norfork] Lexington Ky.to.
