First time fishing the mountains
I am planning an all day fishing trip to the smokys this saturday. I have never fished the mountains before, and am not sure where I should go. All my rods are broken but my glass 9ft 6wt, so I should more than likely avoid tight streams. Anyone have any suggestions for a successful first time trip? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

2. Little River above the Elkmont Campground. 3. Come back and let us know how you did. |

2. This... no need to go anywhere else right now ;) 3. Check Your 6wt. will be fine... I prefer to use 8'9" rods on park streams more than any other length. Enjoy and good luck! Tight Lines, |
There's no fish up there go to the Clinch!

Be careful if you go Danny the little river is up to 1400 cfs right now not wadable. Looks like the mountains got a lot of rain last night.
