Brook Trout (Pic Heavy)
Oldman and I hit one our favorite brook trout streams today. The brooks were eager to strike, but not very aggressive. Many were caught on the dry and many on the dropper nymph.
Here are a few pics. http://i114.photobucket.com/albums/n...714/001-23.jpg http://i114.photobucket.com/albums/n...714/004-21.jpg http://i114.photobucket.com/albums/n...714/005-27.jpg http://i114.photobucket.com/albums/n...714/008-10.jpg http://i114.photobucket.com/albums/n...714/009-13.jpg http://i114.photobucket.com/albums/n...714/010-13.jpg http://i114.photobucket.com/albums/n...714/011-14.jpg http://i114.photobucket.com/albums/n...s714/012-7.jpg http://i114.photobucket.com/albums/n...s714/013-9.jpg http://i114.photobucket.com/albums/n...714/015-11.jpg http://i114.photobucket.com/albums/n...s714/016-9.jpg http://i114.photobucket.com/albums/n...714/017-10.jpg |

We had fun and it was great to get away from work and spend a day in the outdoors. The only casualty of the day was my beloved 3 wt, I broke the tip. Thankfully, it has a great warranty, so it will be repaired and soon be back in action. |
Great trip!!! Love those little brook trout blue lines...definitely a nice way to spend the day. Thanks for the report!
