Clift Rd Question

I recently purchased a 14 foot aluminum boat with a 9.9 hp and was wondering how much generation is needed to acess the Holston at Clift Lane. Has anyone had any experience putting in a boat there?

You better have a serious truck to use that ramp anymore, it has washed really bad and if the water is off to any significant degree than you will be calling a tow truck. I pulled 3 different trucks out a few weeks ago and the water had only been off for about 12 hours at the time. With the water running full bore you could probably get in and put with no issues.

I have a 4x4 so do not think I would have a problem there. I just do not want to tear up a boat. Do you know how much water is there on 1 generator.

Plenty of water on one generator, but even with four wheel drive you could have issues, especially with as much water as they have been running.

Thanks for the info. I went by the French Broad yesterday ans cannot believe the amount of water they are releasing.
