Elk 3-23
Me and a good fishing partner went scouting turkeys this morning, threw our rods in and paid a visit to the waters of the Elk outside of Lynchburg caught the first rainbow around 9:45 on a BH pheasant tail 14. Ended up we brought in a couple apiece. Most fish were in the 8-9" range, nothing overly large. We quit when the wind started blowing miserable looking clouds in. Both of us were pretty happy for a morning of fishing, because we sure didn't see many turkeys, made the scouting trip worth while.
