Awesome video of large Browns in Alberta
I just found this tonight on the flyfisherman website. There is some amazing footage of large browns rising to dries. Dial-up users beware!!! These files average 3 to 5 MB...

Re: Awesome video of large Browns in Alberta
Boy!!!! Can you imagine seeing a brown that size in the Park......... rising to the mayfly, caddis or Stone dejour? I have seen browns in the Park that size, usually after I have stepped on the rock they were hiding under! We vacationed in Canmore,Alberta a few years ago and fished the Bow daily, spent two days in a drift boat on the Bow ( a big river, not very wadeable). Wish I had known of the Red Deer at that time.
Anyway the area is stunningly beautiful, go if you get the chance. Wish I could get every year! Tight lines, |
Re: Awesome video of large Browns in Alberta
There is a place here in east tenn that has nice brown risers just like the video - larger fish at that :o, make a grown fly fisher weak in the knees to see those huge snouts poking through and your hand shake making those long casts so as not to spook 'em...

Waterborn,
As for the water here in East TN, you got any pictures? |

Jswitow,
Have you ever fished any of the big water in Tennessee? Tennessee has one tailwater in particular that is on par with anything in this country. I've got some pictures but the files are too large to put on this forum. I may be able to put a few of the smaller files (and browns) up. http://img.villagephotos.com/p/2004-...rnettBrown.jpg http://img.villagephotos.com/p/2004-.../SSbrownie.jpg http://img.villagephotos.com/p/2004-...allplumage.jpg http://img.villagephotos.com/p/2004-...gclinchbow.jpg This last one is Waterborn holding a 25" Clinch river special. I have more pics of much bigger fish. |
