Livestock in the Caney
 

I got to fish the Caney again today. *I was fishing at Happy Hollow and saw quite a few cows in the river upstream. *I remember seeing them before also. *I'm wondering if cows are supposed to be in the river or if they just get through the fences? *It seems like that river has enough erosion problems as it is without allowing cows to go traipsin' all over the banks. *

The fishing was excellent once again. *I saw LOTS of craneflies hatching and the fish were rising fairly well. *I think they must have put in a bunch of small browns in the last week because I was catching and seeing quite a few today including some oddly shaped ones :-?

I was just searching the water when I saw a nice head poke out. *I tossed my flies just above the rise and hooked this nice brown

They were hitting Sat and Sun as well. Nice brown
