Nice brookie Russ :P I like how you have you fly rod handle marked for use in measuring fish. That makes it a lot easier to measure fish and get them released quickly. I am hoping to head to the smokies early to mid-October. Looking forward to a shorter drive now that I live in western TN instead of Florida. Sounds like water levels are pretty decent, hope that continues into the fall.

Have fun and keep up the good reports and pics

Can someone tell me the name of the site where you post pictures on the web so that you can post them to this (or another) web-site?
Thanks!
Nice brookie too. Trout are just beautiful and the Brookie may be the prettiest of all (even if it is a char)! Of course the prettiest one is usually the one I get to admire for a few seconds before I put it back :).

Hey Buckeye, is your avatar a picture of a greenie weenie? i keep hearing a lot about them on this board. if it is, is it just a bead head and chenille double wrapped with a loop? Do you add lead?

Re: Picture Of  Brookie

yea....it is a green weenie that I tied with a glass bead head for attraction and I have tied them both with and without lead wrap. I believe most of the weenies used in the park are without, but if you hold on tite, I'm sure we will get some responses as to what is working....this is a great site for info

you can also go into the fly tying board from LRO and you will get all kinds of responses and help. There are some green weenie postings on the tying section now....
