Batson Enterprises Rod Blanks
 

Has anyone used one of the Batson RX6 rod blanks? I'm thinking about using either the 4 piece 6'6" 2wt or the 4 piece 8'6" 4wt for an upcoming build. These blanks are priced very well. I just hope the quality is good.

I have build 3 rods using their blanks. I don't think you'll find a better value.

The 6.5' 2wt is a great rod, but I don't think it is a true 2wt. More like a 3wt.

I use 3wtDT SA on it and it's a dream on small streams.

Thanks for the information. I'm glad to hear that the 2wt performs more like a 3wt, because is actually how I plan to use it.
