i had a lovely talk with yer wife on the sunday of troutfest..........came off a backpacking trip and stopped in at the fest........saw someone else with map in hand, and tracked down yer booth......

i was at CS 74 last weekend, and one guy who stayed at 68 the night before said that a bear had come and snatched his food away shortly after he had cooked it....

this is interesting as i just hiked cove mountain...

this is interesting as i just hiked cove mountain trail on sunday..........i had seen the tire marks----thought it was interesting as at some points the trail narrows down to less than an axle...

this year, i've been doing a bunch of filet...

this year, i've been doing a bunch of filet mignons.......and pieces of chicken........

maranate them.......put em in foil............put in coals in fire.....

makes a great meal...........and...

i think that this is part of the problem.........these groups bring in tons of food, and while the guides may be wise enough to care about where their food crumbs are going---i'm guessing a majority...
