I echo Grumpy on this one. I've got a couple of C&F boxes, one for the mountains, one for tailwaters, and one for cheater flies *:-X ;D. They are solid and really help with organizing.

Phil, the river area below a dam is usually referred to as a tailwater, for example the clinch river below Norris dam. As far as rods go a 8 1/2ft 4wt. would be a good all around rod for this area....

sagerod, tie a BHPT as you normally would with the exception of using a curved hook such as a 2488 or 2487 and add some sort of flash in the wing case (i.e. holographic tinsel). Hope this helps.
