Don't have any advice about fishing the Telllico. But, I was out on January 2nd and fished my favorite Wisconsin spring pond (season opens on Jan. 1st) and caught some small brook trout.

You made a good choice. I've found buying the 100 packs to be more cost effective than buying a saddle or a cape. Plust the quality of the feathers are just as good as those found on the saddles.

Thanks for the recipe, it looks almost exactly like the one I tie. That's nice looking ps. I usually fish size 12s but, for small streams the 14s and 16s would be great choice.
