The Clinch is in trouble at the moment in my opinion. Fish health is poor relative to the last few years, the sulphurs are gone which is alarming, and something is negatively impacting the fishery....

I've caught a million clinch fish over the years fishing tiny stuff in the dead of summer crystal clear water on a clinch knot. Never really worried much about it, and focused solely on presentation.

Really nice work by the locals on the tires, sure they create some habitat but at what cost is unknown. Some people just don't make sense, and like me I'm sure you would've loved to have caught them...

Ive spent a fair amount of time on it over the years on 2, and streamers are the best bet. However, if you take your time and fish #14 BHPT's in the seams along the banks you can pick up some fish....

I live and die by the usgs graphs, literally every outing is dependent on them. They are accurate from my experience and I can track changes in the bass behavior post trip by slight water variations...
