We live in northwest tn.on the kentucky/tn border. We are about thirty minutes from reelfoot and about fourty minutes from wildcat creek on the backend of blood river arm of kentucky lake.

thanks for all the info guys. This may be an excuse to get out more and find the deep holes that hold the big fish. There is no substitution for time in the rivers and streams. Thanks again....

Just curious, I read somewhere that if I were to buy a 4weight rod that the rod should be able to handle a 3 weight line or a 5 weight line with no noticable difference? Being a newbie I dont think...
