Like many said before, you steer by the back of the boat always keep it angled slightly in the direction your wantin to fish!! There is rarely any forward strokes in drifting its a constant backwards...

I would highly recommend checking out WorldCast...

I would highly recommend checking out WorldCast Anglers in Jackson Hole. They take trips on the Snake, the South Fork of the Snake, Salt, Green, trips into Yellowstone, Etc. I graduated from there...
