8ft 4wt TFO pro 4 piece. When I first started fishing the Smokies the best all around rod was thought to be a 8ft 4wt. I have tried others but as a personal preference have seen no reason to change.

The TiCrx TFO are great rods . I have used them...

The TiCrx TFO are great rods . I have used them from Alabama to Alaska. Cought lots of Salmon and Bass with them. Through heavy flies very well.

I crimp the barbs on all the flys I tie. Easier on the fish and me if I happen to hook myself, which sometime happens.

I followed your lead Whitefeather and signed up with the Little River Chapter.
Even though I live in Alabama I consider GSM as my home Trout waters. Lots
of Bass but very few Trout.

No to Northern Water Snake

Fished with several Northern Water Snakes. Even caught one in a crawfish trap under my dock.
These were Copperheads!

My Cousin fished Little River Sat. and caught several Rainbows and a nice 12in Brown.
He came across 3 copperheads. One in the water. He tore a calf muscle avoiding it.

Question Muskey Fishing on the Caney Fork

I saw Kelly Gallop fishing for Muskey on the Caney Fork this morning on Fly Fish TV.
Has anyone done this? This was the first I had heard of Musky Fishing up there.
