i know the fish in the park are extremely hard to catch when the water temp on this website is anywhere near 40 or below. Usually if byron temps the swinging bridge, i get 6 degrees cooler halfway up...

i usually miss up to 10 times as many as i catch up there, they are uber fast. I use a short leader and that helps my hook up. I know eveyone always says to fish a big long leader for those spooky...

there is a little creek they stock for kids in the park, maybe its right outside, but its near the twin creeks visitor center. All of the pure brookie waters have a barrier at the low end...

there is certainly no doubt that otters can catch and eat a ton of fish, but i dont think we need to worry about fish populations in the park because the otters and trout have coexisted for a million...
