Stopped in and bought some gear. The Smith glasses, since I forgot my fishing glasses, were excellent and did the trick. Spotted more fish Im sure than had I went terribly without them. Fly selection...

Well I did manage to see two snakes while I was in GSMNP this past week. One a dead water logged Rattlesnake on the Little River just below Fish Camp Prong. With it being dead it certainly didnt hurt...

Apparently there are 8 brook trout streams that have been closed to fishing for numerous years and this year those 8 are open. I know 4 are in TN and 4 are in NC. I know Bunches Creek and Hazel Creek...
