Well only 4 more days until i leave for my first trip to GSMNP. the wife and i are leaving Saturday morning and headed for Townsend from St. Louis. i'm not sure if i could be anymore excited about it...

you will find us at LRO fairly early on 10/15. gotta gear up and stock the fly box. if you see a couple asking a bizillion questions and buying all the fly's, that will be us. we should keep them in...

definately stay away from Meramac Spring unless you are using a spinning real and dough bait. some of the wild blue ribbon areas have some nice trout in them. as far as the state parks i personally...

is anyone out there familiar with a mohair leach fly? it's basically a woolly bugger pattern but instead of chenille you use mohair yarn and don't use hackle. pick out the fibers (i use a wire brush)...
