I floated the elk last weekend and caught a few on 'tim's trout candy' and parachute adams. I'd probably go to the caney over the elk unless you hate fishing with a crowd. It is free fishing day...

I know a guy who works at a hatchery and he said they had a stocking truck get washed away at betty's island a few years ago. They opened the dam unscheduled.
