Has anyone tried the loon hydrostop? I like the sound of it but was wondering how permanent it really is. I know some folks pretreat with aquel/gink/insert-name-here but I don't want to do that...

Solid advice here thus far. It is a busy trai like Abrams falls. I wouldn't start fishing until I passed mouse creek falls, where 70% of people turn around.

I have quit using buck tail. Might as well fish with a wire brush IMO. I tie clouser style flies with craft hair instead.
