If my dry sinks at the end of a drift, I strip it...
If my dry sinks at the end of a drift, I strip it back like a steamer. Tiny strips of one to two inches. I make sure I alternate the number when I'm stripping... sometimes two sometimes one slow one...

Now that my vision is gone I use more material...
Now that my vision is gone I use more material for the body so that I can see. I also don't worry too much about a wing casing. I don't notice a difference in the strike rate without it.
