It may have something to do with the fact that Sequoyah N.P. tripped both units a couple of days ago. It takes them a few days to bring the units back up to full power and that is a lot of base load...

Personally, I haven't seen one in the park since November, but they do have a bear warning out for CS#40 (near Cataloochie). No other bear warnings on the Backcountry website.
