Thanks for all the good advise. David I get some bad tangles also when they take the dry. Buzz you may be right I'll do some testing on that.

Dropper question

How do you rig a dropper of a dry? I have been tying the dropper to the hook bend on my dry but I missed a bunch of strikes on the dry today. Wandering if there is a better way.

Mine is about 5 years old I also have a 7;6" 4wt glass rod. I bought it for that rod it is a perfect reel for the park.

Don't need but want a new rod for the Park I want a 8' 4wt I am looking at a Redington Classic Trout. Anyone ever fished one? And if not the Redington what do you like?

I fish 99% Tenkara in the park and every where...

I fish 99% Tenkara in the park and every where else. I use a 12' rod most of the time with a level line. It just works best for me. Best nymph rig I have ever fished 12' rod 8' of line and tippet.
