I've done it. Not a fan. The pair I have don't have enough stiffness in the sole for rough trails. That said, I'd do it again. It wasn't that bad.

Fished the lower end of Cataloochee on Thursday. From 1/4 mile below the boy scout camp and down about 1/2 mile. Was hoping for some larger browns and using a large black stone dredging the bottom....
