Shaggy, were these fish from North River or up higher where Meadow Branch comes in as a feeder stream? Meadow Branch is a tiny stream as is Snowbird, another feeder to North River.

I'm using a pair of the Simms boots with the rubber soles now. I've not had any problems wading in Tellico. The edges do not hold like felt but as long as you can keep a lot of the sole on the rocks...

I'm new to the board and am enjoying it very much.
Most of my fishing is in southeast Tennessee (Tellico, Hiwassee and several other streams)
