Is the SA Mastery trout line an overweight line, i.e., a 2wt actually throws and fishes like a 2.5 or 3 wt line?

I believe that hunting from a kayak or unpowered canoe would be legal outside city limits and as long as you don't get out on private land. I know that you can duck hunt the rivers here in Alabama...
