Cool story! It is good to hear you and your son had a good experience. For the Great Smoky Mountain National Park, those sized rainbows are less common than folks might think.:)

It was a fun afternoon. I told my wife I was not going fishing, I was just testing my GPS on the phone and checking the water temperatures. I guess she saw right through me though....

Tremont 6/20/2014 (morning)
