I would also think it depends on what type of fisherman is ahead of you. Is he stealthy ? did he walk through middle of the run when he finished with the pool ? I usually can come back to a pool...

mountain specs are never out of the question...

mountain specs are never out of the question regardless of time of year. I don't advocate fishing for spawning fish but these fish will take a fly all year long...if fished correctly.
