I know John Switow who is the authority on Snowbird refers to them as steelhead, and I think he told me that they are the same strain of rainbow as the Great Lakes fish.

It's a pretty awesome...

I fished with a friend last week who brought a Native Watercraft that was very nice, though it was a sit-in rather than sit-on. And I know they're pretty expensive. Tennessee-made too.

I've only been down there once this year, early in the summer. At that time, it appeared to me the river needed a good flush. Lot of silt and algae at that time.
