On the deleware river as a kid we would catch...

On the deleware river as a kid we would catch herring on bare gold hooks. We used 2 hooks at a time with some split shot and a float. We caught so many doubles it was ridiculous.

So I see a lot of leader talk, on this forum and others, but never see much on streamer leaders... I dabble with streamers a few times a year but not terribly often...I usually use a 9 foot standard...
