During high water throw your favorite streamers, my preference is the mighty clouser minnow. Pound the banks and the cover hard when the water is up. Not big numbers, but the payoff is well worth it....

If the water is still up from the schedule and sluice gate operation, float the river and throw streamers into the cover. Your numbers won't be up, but the fish you do get will be measured in pounds....
