Thanks David, good photo examples:smile: Usually the lighter colored gravel is a dead give away. I try to avoid tail outs that are shin to knee deep with gravel the size of golf balls and smaller.

You already have some very good advice. I don't try to cast with a tight loop with two flies, or a heavily weighted one. I think of the cast as more of a lobbing motion than a sharp stabbing one....
