Those are some decent size native brook trout. One of my favorite places to fish is a small brook trout stream in central Wisconsin. I'm surprised how fast those little brookies grab your fly....

Sound like a nice outing. Anthony creek has a lot of small, eager rainbows. I agree it's a relaxing way to spend a few hours.

Looks like a creek chub to me. It looks like he has a flattened head and that was the give away to me. Up here they can get up to 10" long.
