That is way too long in an inflatable with no motor (almost 15 miles). There is far too much flat/dead water and you wouldn't make it in the daylight if you paddled all day long on a fishable flow...

You can float the Watauga on any flow irrespective of generation. By all accounts you are better off waiting on a favorable generation schedule on the Soho though...
