I think your car/truck would be fine to park at the falls. As long as you don't leave it there at dark. There is a lot of traffic coming and going at the falls during the day.

Yes, it is worth it. Make sure and fish Bald River above the falls and the North River. Great places to camp on the North and Tellico. Its a beautiful area.
