I fully agree. So much water won't support brooks and allowing other fish to stay in lower elevation streams will allow them to migrate elsewhere.
Just doesn't make sense to want to remove some...

Almost any fish I have ever kept during my summer camping trips up in the Smokies had tons of black ants in there. The guys at the old Trenthams Hardware store always recommended fishing black ants....
