I do too, just use a hook sharpener. Pocket model is less than $5 from the "mart" stores or tackle shop.
On the same note, I bought the Gerber "Flik Fish" multi-tool with the needle nose pliers built in and it has an excellent built in hook sharpener. Also has scissors that will cut braided line, several screw drivers, and is compact to boot. I like it so much that I got a second one to carry anytime so I can leave one in my fish pond bag. That way I've always got
one with me on the water. Very useful little tool.
