With such a big event, taking a year off might ease burn out from those who have to dedicate many many hours to make it happen. I'm sure it feels like apart time job to many, and doing it year after year must take a toll on the chapter and those heavily involved.
For all the money they raise for the park, I don't think a year off is too much to ask. I'm sure they'll have a heck of one in 2014
