Thanks for the post. I was supposed to do an off-trail hike with Smoky Mountain Hiking Club on Sat, but we had to abort our plan since the road was closed. As we drove out for the day I saw someone fishing 100 yards or so below the Wye. I thought to myself that water must be 40 degrees, that guy won't be catching anything. Glad I was wrong about the catching
