Angler, here's a list of good Smoky Moutain guides, there are more but this is a short list of the ones I know personally. The advice given to you so far is spot on.

PA is so right with his post. Just be honest with your guide and you will have a blast and so will he. You will be comfortable and so will your guide. You will learn things you never knew you could do. Give us a report when you go!
